2004 Post about a Cruise

I know this is completely out of order, but Shelley and I were talking about the trip today and I wanted to see the pictures again. The three of us, Scott, Shelley and I (before Clay, Beaux, Sandy and Jeff came along), went on a 7 day cruise over New Year's Eve in 2004. We had a wonderful time. There were many, many pictures, but these were my favorites. I put the ones of me not because they were my favorites, but because I really was there, too. Shelley and Scott took an excursion to swim with the sharks in Belize, so I couldn't have been in those pictures. I did a different side trip that day. The pictures of Shelley and I without Scott were taken on our excursion on Cozumel. Scott went on a different excursion that day.

Clay and I are on our way to Cancun to golf and snorkel this summer.

Golf Outing in Bandera, Texas

Clay is a real cowboy, remember. His boots have seen plenty of action rounding up cattle.

We went to a gala recently that was Texas Chic, so here is a picture of Clay Bob in his jeans, hat and tux jacket. We saw Willie, Lyle Lovett, and Rick Trevino. This was the first time I have ever seen Clay in jeans at all and this spring we have had three(!) western parties/events in the last few weeks.

About 90 of us from The Hills CC made a trip to Bandera, Texas, last week. The 5th annual trip to the Flying L Ranch. It was two days of golf, two great evenings of food, entertainment, and lots of fun. You can see in the pictures below that Kathy and I won a prize for our golf abilities. We did not win anything for our singing, but that is only because we were the only ones that got up to sing. What were we thinking?? It was Kathy's idea. I succumbed to peer pressure. Actually, Kathy can sing.

Of our "group" that made the trip were the Lindgrens, Mathews, Ryans, Parkers, Gruetners, Hrobaks, Fousts, and many more. Such a fun group! Clay and I really enjoy being a part of this community.
